The application of fluorescent brighteners in wool, acrylic fiber and acetate fiber is different from polyester and cotton, mainly because they have higher requirements for dye affinity and yellowing treatment. These fibers are prone to yellowing, and fluorescent brighteners effectively neutralize the yellow tone by absorbing ultraviolet light and emitting blue-violet light. Compared with polyester, wool and acrylic fiber require better dyeing compatibility, light resistance and washing resistance; compared with cotton, the chemical structure of these fibers is more complex, and the whitening treatment requires higher stability and durability.
